Dance dance dance dance dance to the radio

30 years ago today Ian Curtis of Joy Division took his own life.

To mark the anniversary of the singer's death, Peter Hook, the band's bass player, will play the debut album Unknown Pleasures live on 18 May, with his band The Light, at his new club FAC251 in Manchester.

In a fitting tribute, two of the singers that will sing as Ian Curtis next month, originally stepped in for him when he was too ill to play three decades ago.

Still missed ...

Original (?) Banksy uncovered in Manchester

Discovered by council workmen while renovating the electricity substation on Tibb Street in the Northern Quarter

Now we wait to see if they will just paint over it or preserve it.

Walk on water (Liquid Mountaineering)

Very cool ... actually walking (well running) on water ... don't forget your armbands!

Viral for Hi-Tec? Nice long, lingering, product shot at 1:30? or am I just being cynical?

... just believe.

iPad - will it shred? ... well kinda.

Is there anything the new Apple iPad can't do ... well ...

The stunt was created as a part of Fuel TV’s show ‘Built To Shred,’ with host Jeff King and pro skater Chad Knight throwing another 500 bucks into the wind.
