Dog wash

Smelly dog? Clean and terrify it with this dog washing machine, installed in Poiteirs, France.

Costing $30,000, the dog washer hoses down and dries its occupant in four minutes. An operator is on-hand to ensure the pet is "comfortable," however, unlikely that proposition sounds.

All I can think of is the intro sequence to one series of the Pink Panther cartoons, wherein the protagonist emerges from precisely such a machine as a giant, blow-dried puff ball.
